Creative incommunities

Centres creativity at the heart of communities

Creative incommunities serves a statewide network of over 60 member organisations, Local Arts Councils, enabling Queensland Arts Council to deliver touring productions, funding, advice and resources to regional communities.

Creative incommunities:

  • provides services and support for Queensland's Local Arts Council network
  • promotes and manages the Regional Arts Fund (RAF) on behalf of the Australian Government, through the Department of Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts.
  • coordinates Queensland Arts Council Regional Forum series
  • presents ArtsYakka, a free online resource and chat facility for regional arts champions.
  • manages an Artist Listing, featuring artists, companies and educators that are committed to touring regionally

“We have finally found the socket for our plug. [We] learned a great deal of terminology, policy and procedure and enjoyed meeting my colleagues and mentors.”
