A community-friendly fund

2008 has seen the first successful year of a renewed three-year partnership between Heritage Building Society and Queensland Arts Council. The primary focus of the partnership is to offer support to arts and cultural initiatives in regional Queensland through the Arts Partnership Fund.

With Heritage Building Society’s generous support in 2008, the Arts Partnership Fund has delivered multiple outcomes to regional Queensland organisations.

In 2008, the Arts Partnership Fund contributed $62,551, leveraging a total of $256,487 in community arts and cultural activities across regional Queensland. This enabled 22 communities to host 30 events.
